The beginning of degré21 is so far back in time that we have forgotten the exact date. Even the exact year. Guitarist Antonio Albanese and Laurent Estoppey premiered several pieces, played a large amount of music either written or arranged, and published in 2004 N/S, released a double CD with an original cover drawn by Swiss artist Olivier Saudan; one of this set's CDs is dedicated to American composers David Kechley, Victoria Bond, Alan Hovaness, David Noon and Carl Nosse, the other one contains arrangements by Astor Piazzolla.

La création de Degré21 est si ancienne qu’on ne se souvient plus de la date exacte. Ni même de l’année.  Le guitariste Antonio Albanese et Laurent Estoppey créent plusieurs œuvres, en jouent de nombreuses déjà écrites et en arrangent également.                                                                                                       

En 2004 ils publient N/S, un double CD dont la couverture est un dessin original d’Olivier Saudan ; un disque est consacré aux compositeurs américains David Kechley, Victoria Bond, Alan Hovaness, David Noon and Carl Nosse, l’autre est constitué d’arrangements d’Astor Piazzolla.
